Important news about Lifescan

Lifescan being withdrawn

We are sorry to announce that following a strategic review of the business, the Lifescan product is going to be withdrawn from the market with effect from the 2nd December 2016.

This means we are no longer able to book appointments for the scans or blood tests we have offered since 2003.  Please note, this is purely a strategic decision and does not in any way reflect upon the clinical effectiveness of the Lifescan products or services.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking all our patients for their support of Lifescan and for choosing our services.

Information for our patients

We appreciate our patients may have a number of questions some of which we have tried to address below:

Where will my records be stored?

Lifescan is a part of Spire Healthcare – a leading provider of private healthcare with 38 hospitals throughout the UK. All your records and images will continue to be held securely by Spire Healthcare and will be available on written request.

What happens if I need a copy of my report or my images – is there someone I can contact?

Yes, please email info@lifescanuk.org and your email will be directed to the appropriate person who will be in touch with you.

Once again, we would like to take this opportunity of thanking all our patients for their support of Lifescan and for choosing our services.
