A mammogram - a breast x-ray - to help identify breast cancer in its early stages.
During a mammogram a radiographer will position your breast in a mammography unit. Your breast will be placed on a special platform and compressed so that all the breast tissue can be seen clearly and to prevent any movement.
All mammograms are double reported by specialist Consultant Radiologists.
Min age: 40+
Before any booking can be completed, we will need to ensure you are eligible for an appointment against our clinical referral criteria.
