Our Virtual Colonoscopy is an advanced method of diagnosing the early signs of Colon Cancer (cancer of the large bowel). This breakthrough use of technology means there is no need for an invasive colonoscopy. Virtual colonoscopy is now recognised as equally as sensitive as conventional colonoscopy for the detection of polyps measuring over 10mm (about the size of a pea). With early detection and treatment, the survival rate of colon cancer can be increased from 35% to 90%. We currently recommend five yearly Virtual Colonoscopy scans for patients aged 45 and over.

The Heart Scan detects and measures calcium in your coronary arteries. If calcium is detected, there is coronary artery disease present. If no calcium is detected you are at a low risk of a heart attack. Our Heart Scan can detect calcium at a very early stage of coronary artery disease, even before any significant blockage has developed and potentially years before a standard health assessment or Exercise ECG would detect disease.

Our Lung Scan is six times more accurate than a traditional chest-Xray in determining the early signs of lung cancer. By measuring the density of your bone structure, it is possible to determine the presence of osteoporosis. This scan is available on its own or at no extra cost in a Life Scan or Life Scan plus Virtual Colonoscopy.

This is a specialised scan for those individuals thought to be at risk of heart disease. This non-invasive coronary angiography is also available to those who have already been diagnosed with heart disease. This scan is only available with a referral from a GP or Consultant.
