Whilst Lifescan endeavours to maintain the highest standards it should be noted that no assessment is 100% effective.

Modern CT scanners are capable of detecting over 99% of colon cancers and lung cancers over 9mm whilst with smaller abnormalities the sensitivity diminishes.

If you have any specific symptoms or health concerns then the results of a CT examination should be viewed in conjunction with an appropriate clinical opinion.

Lifescan has been established to offer diagnosis for many serious illnesses, often before symptoms are present. However, if you are suffering from specific symptoms you may wish in the first instance to discuss these with your GP.
